Hi. People have said in other Threads they are un-sure on how to get to the PK Server, so I decided to post a Step by Step Guild, including Images, to show you how to get there. There is also a Link on the Main EL website, with some Information you'll need about the Server, it can be found Here. Ok, so lets start explaining how to connect to the PK Server. Step 1: First, you'll need to make sure you have a Eternal Lands shortcut on your Desktop. (Should already be there because once you install EL, it auto-installs one there.) Now.. Right click on the Icon on your desktop. Then click 'Create Shortcut' like this: Step 2: Now you should have 2 EL Icons on your Desktop. Now, Right click on the Icon you just made, and rename it to something like PK Server, or EL PK Server, something so you know that it's the PK Server, and not the main server. Step 3: Now it's renamed, you'll need to right click on the PK Server Icon, and go to Properties, like this: Step 4: Now you should have a screen come up with the Properties for that Icon, now you need to change the Target. (Location of the server), It should look something like this: Please note, the location, example: "C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands\el.exe" could change, depends where you have EL installed. Step 5: Now that should be all finished, click 'Ok' and then 'Ok' again, and all should be done, run the PK Server icon, and see if you connect to the Server. - Some notes, There should be a space between the last " and the pk part, if theres not, it wont work. (I missed it, was out all of the day and night, sucks. ) really wanted to see the Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson fight, which sucks, lol. Could someone tell me the results? I normally do it for the fun. I only used to enter PK/fighting contests. I held a couple myself too. Which is always fun thing do to. I remember there used to be some KF events, like resuce someone and win some prizes, those were fun.

Hehe. PKing: COL, Titanium Set, Bone of Death, Staff of Mage, Mirror Cape, and Thermal Serp, from one person. Of course, I got about 4-5 drops worth over 500k each.

TG Magic School Gardens is pretty cool too. And the waterfall thing in Kusumara (I pr0 map speller tbh..) is good too.

Believe me the cost of breaks and used pots/essies/etcs are more than cost of rostos... People will still buy rosts from EL shop... I have no doubt about that... Lol, use NMT cape then, there are no Branchers left in the game. (By branchers I mean people who use that weapon more than anything else..) so you don't have to worry about armour/weapon breaks. (As much anyways.) And ess/pots are easy enough to come by, and trust me, people will NOT buy Rostogol Stones, when there is a ND map, what the fuck is the point they wont sell for much gc, and they wont be used for anything, apart from training/alchers or whatever. I personally dont dispute the point you are trying to make, but when looked at with the bigger picture ( ie:New capped arena's after the update where ppl wont need to go to KF and get mobbed by 120-130+ a/d players) wouldnt this help all levels of pkers ? or should we just say " fuck it, sod them high players,let them sit in KF alone" ? New Capped Areana's wont do fuck all, apart from reduce the amount of PK for the higher level players, and probs reduce PK more than it is now... We need to remove some PK maps befor we can start the real suggestions on how to improve PK, not sit here and make more PK area's. And for those of you who PVP, it's not really hard to find a Guild map and use that is it, lol. 99.9% of Suggestions to 'Improve PK' wont do anything.

Read my first post plz... This wont ruin the usage of rostos. Mixers use rosts alot, also trainers etc etc... And there will be only 1 map for ND and others will remain droppable (I m tired of saying this for thousands of times...) Thats the part you don't understand, IF people want to PK, they will go to ND map, rather than waste GC on a Rosto on a empty map. Thus reducing the cost of Rosto stones, and how often they are bought from the shop. You really need to think of these things befor you post.

They are just trying to mess the things up... Btw, ND maps are not totally make PK easier, tho it will make harder at some points, like ur chance to get gang-banged with 5 people will increase (dont even count summons). And the risk of breaking will increase too. So it will be easier or harder? Trying to mess things up? PK is dead, has been for little over a year now. And it will remain dead, a ND map/areana/whatever will make little/no difference, I never said it will make it worse. The idea of having a ND arena would sound good, but that would then ruin the Rostogol Stones, from the shop and or players.. If you PKers are to fucking stupid to realise it's a stone that does exactly the same as what your asking, but it costs some GCs, then you shouldn't PK.. Whats so bad in loosing a Rosto Stone anyways? The only thing worth doing is to remove every single PK map/cave on C2, theres no point in adding more and more PK maps, that wont do anything but make there less PK. You can say/suggest anything you want, but what I just said above, is one of the only things that would make 'slightly' more PK than there is now.

LOL! Thats insane.. 232 EMEs. #Edit - I never really had a pr0ject, I had a couple PK ones, 100-0 on a NDD. And ~80 different PKs on a NDD, both fun. #Edit - I did one on PkingDuck account, 10 Red/Black Dragon Scales in one day. Also help to get NDD by killing 5 B Dragons on my own.

Exactly, lol.. I think I have got ~7 Therm Serps from PK, and lots of other stuff, but I wont spam it here. I know, but I don't see it helping, maybe for a week or so, it would be fun, but the idea will wear off and get boring after a while. #Edit - Removing every PK Map/Cave on C2, will increase PK, then turn the WS arena into a ND arena, I think is a good idea.

This wont make PK any better than what it is now, all you'll be doing now is wasting a hell of alot of supplys, for no gain at all, and another thing, people say they don't get drops, I bet 95%~ of PKers have got 1 'drop' worth over 100k.. It's not a huge amount, but if you take into consideration what was spent on PK its good. Thats one of the main reasons I pk'd so much, I made more exp/gc a day than I would if I sat at a fluffy spawn for 5 hours. (~600k oa exp a day back then..) Although, I'm the luckiest person when it comes to PK drops, lol. #Edit - It's a nice idea trying to revive PK, but.. tbh Kads and other PKers, it's not going to happen anytime soon. Most of these suggestions wont affect it in anyway. PK is pretty much dead, compared to what it used to be. And I don't see it going back to what it was either, something you'll all need to live with I guess.

MP isn't a 'good' PKer.. He just has nice stats to base the PK on.

Nah it will just make pr0'es quit EL. We need some 120's to pwn as well. Good pki There are maybe 2-3 players at 150 stats, most are ~120, now with the attribute cap, its so easy to kill stronger enemy, if you have a good set-up, and good understanding of PK. Now people don't have +100 coord, and are impossible to hit. PK is very easy if you can build up the right attributes/or a decent char set-up. Makes me wish I had my char back to prove the point, but this isn't possible.

But they're not used anyway. Yeah... so... what difference will it make if that arena is left in or taken out... I know there not used, thats why they're not needed. It's another PK area, thats not needed. But if there was another PK map on C1, rather than just arean's, it would be alot better.
