    Well, contest is over. The 1K Pick broke today, 26.03.2012 :) (well, when i finished writing is yesterday)

    I was eager to see how it works, so i bought one, and tested it to tanking 1 Cocalar. it results 11 paralyzes, so it works well, but is it good enough to use instead SoP?..that is another question.:medieval:

     

    I was tanking lots of 80-100 instance monsters with an AoF instead of SoP, i would say, the effects are comparable but can't really decide which is better, all i can say the SoP works smoother

     

    I think it depends on the average damage done on the tank per combat round.

     

    Sop: in 100 rounds of combat this will give you: 25 heals * 25HP = 625

    AoF: in 100 rounds of total combat it will occur 5 times (7% chance, (14 + 3 + 14 + 3 + 14 +3 +14 +3 +14 +3 +14))

     

    AoF will be more valuable at: 5 occurences * 3 rounds * average damage > 625 => average damage = 41,6HP

    Hi All

     

    Some time ago Riphath made a nice forum contest when he reached the 1K picks break.

    Well, im close to this number also, so i want to do another one of this kind.

     

    Right now i have 963 Pickakes broken in my counters. This contest is going to be over when i reach the 1K. I will not change my el harveasting methods, i will just continue like i have done in the last 1.5 years (since counters started).

     

    Info:

    I started the counters on the 20th September 2010

    Most of the things i harveast DONT require a pickaxe

     

    Categories:

    - Day (in CET) where i break the 1000 pickaxe

    - Total number of stones

    - Total number harveasted items

    - Item i have harveasted less

    - Item i have harveasted more

     

    Rules

    - Only 1 post per person

    - If you edit your post after someone has posted, it goes invalidated

    - You cant repeat values that someone other posted. if you do so, the post will be invalidated

    - In case of 2 people getting close to the real answere by the same number (Example: i get 9988 stones, someone says 9987 and someone 9989), the person with the Lowest value will win

     

    Prices:

    The price will be 100 Pickaxe for each cathegory.

    Guys focus on complete the global quests. Iirc one Of the rewards is more % to good special days :)

     

    Really? I didnt see this one yet

    I only remember 3 different rewards:

    -Less food cost while mixing

    -Less Wait time for dailys

    -Less mini events

     

    I may be wrong but

     

    Edit: Anyway, focus on the Global quest is also a good idea. Ill gladly join

    So, then its just truth that we are having bad luck.

     

    Well, at some point statistics show up to be the biggest lie in the world:

    Put your head in the fridge, your feet in the hoven, and statistics says that your average temperature is just great
