Don't mean to seem pushy, but there ought to be 'greetings' thread for the PK server so I'm starting one. Didn't know where else to put this! ************************************************************************ Piggy is going to stick around a while. I took the winter off to hibernate but now I want to get back into EL and I'm loving the way PK is working out. You won't see any more Mugwump posts in the PK forums, it's all Piggy from here on in! Mugs stays on the main being nice to people! As I don't expect to be a very good PK'er, I named my character after Piggy from the book/movie 'Lord of the Flies'. He's the four-eyed fat kid with asthma that doesn't survive til the end. So you need not phear me... heh, heh.... I may spam in channel some favorite quotes from the book that I found on the web, and I highly recommend the read to anyone unfamiliar with the book. (Roja; from: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=42079) I stand, guilty as charged! I was thinking not of specific events actually, but to advertise the server in general to attract more players. So far I just mention it occasionally in conversation on Channel 4 when appropriate.

I wonder if we might get permission to post an "ad" on channel 4 on the main server for PK. It would only need to repeat once every 2 or 4 hours so as not to generate complaints (like Oyster every half-hour .) Last time I was on the main server I mentioned the PK ants and a lot of virtual ears perked up. I think the server has a lot more going for itself than when it first opened up.

One thing that I brought up in channel that really makes me curious about the ants: Do they read the encyclopedia for instance to learn about sigils for instance, or must they randomly wander into Magic Shops and randomly purchase sigils until they have the right combination to randomly try a spell with the correct random essences in inventory? Sigils are something we cannot just give them. AI is fascinating!

Great screenies! This was my first invasion on PK and I had big fun! I stayed in Nordcarn with the Wolves, Imps, Boar, and Deer. Still, I'm too weak (so is my computer) to dive right into the fray, but if I stayed on the perimeter picking them of one by one I did pretty well. Once the Pumas came out I was toast, but Handyman protected me long enough to get my bag back and heal up. Handyman wins the Piggy Hero of the Week award and I will always watch his back!

PKants are a blast!! I pilfered all the fox furs out of their bags (one ant attacked me, protecting the nest) and made a pile of fox scarves. These I sold to a general store for 400gc so I gave one of the ants 25%. We all made out!

It's a storage jacuzzi! How cool is that! Somebody gained a little weight over the winter..... Not me! It's that other guy over on the weenie server!
