Not selective reading, just confusion as to which links fixed the runtime problem. Sorry. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it from the website, installed the patch from the website, and then installed the two links in your first post and it is working again.

I also have been running RC 10 since it came out with no problems until today. I was harvesting roses in EVTR and all of the sudden I got a pop up error message entitled: "Windows Visual C++ Runtime Library" with the following error message: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information" Each time I try to log in now I get this same message after I enter my password and can not get into game although a friend says they see me log on briefly and log off. I rebooted my machine and tried to log into game again but the same message appears. Any suggestions? I am running Vista if that matters at all. *Edited to say - I see others have had runtime errors but with so many pages I am not sure what the ultimate solution is, if one has been found. Sorry if this is a repeat post to problems others have. **Second edit to say that I had just entered basement which leads to mines in EVTR when error happened.

Where were you in SRM. Was it raining? Was it on a map change (or entering/leaving a building). Had you changed screen resolution or toggled full screen that session? Were you fighting or could you see others fighting? Any extra information might help. Not raining, not entering or leaving a building. No change of screen resolution or toggling screen size. All three crashes I was outside, first time in the vicinity of the old cotton field, and the other two in the vicinity of the front of storage. I may not have actually been moving at time of 2 of the crashes but was rotating the camera view around to look what was around me. There was another player standing next to me during all three crashes. Also, don't know if any of the following matter but the only other things I remember that all crashes had in common were the following: 1) I was wearing higher level armor then I normally do - was trying on friend's full steel plate 1st and other 2 times was wearing newly acquired full iron plate. (First time since playing game that I had such high level stuff on for more then a few minutes.) 2) All crashes happened approximately the same time of day on two seperate nights - around midnight EST (East Coast USA).

Crashed again 2 times last night doing same exact thing, walking around SRM, no eye candy, no sound. I was on for many hours yesterday and had no other issues.

I crashed once last night doing nothing but walking around SRM, sound and eye candy were disabled. Screenshot below but two new comments on this: 1) others who had not taken patch also noticed my health bar looked lower then everyone else 2) Later on I put on my COL and restored (for first time since patch) and I noticed my health bar became the same size as everyone elses - now I see if I remove COL healthbar shrinks, if I put it back on and restore it grows again. I did not notice this effect since update prior to patch. Screen shot without COL

Just downloaded patch and working so far for me except I notice that everyone's green health bars appear longer then mine. I can supply screen shot if you want. I will report any problems. Was crashing one or two times a day and lagging prior to patch.
