It is very strange .. No, errors_log.txt file is empty.

Ok, Entropy here's what i've came up with.. i've tried all u said.. even redownloaded the whole 17mb client, same thing happens again.. i've tried with .bin file from the update, and with the patch .bin file and same thing happens.. i start the game, click, type my user/pass and then clients exits.. crus@pixel:~/Games/EternalLands> ./el.x86.linux.bin Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) OS: SuSE linux 9.0 - kernel 2.4.21-99 graphics card: ATI Radeon 7200... hope this will help u out to fix the problem.

I agree with that lexic wrote, it would be great if hi level monsters drop these things from time to time, even skeletons.. -
I had the EXACT same problem.. using linux.. anyhow, Entropy helped out and here is what u have to do.. in 3d objects directoryu find door5 file and repace it with door4 file.. and it will work..
