  1. Ring of power

If they are so rare i don't see anyone making extra mana/heal pots with them no matter what the RoP recipe is. Since people need lots and lots of SRs the extra mana pots are the side effect whereas with RoD being next to useless the RoP is the aim, the RoD the side effect. With the introduction of these recipes people will still be making SRs as much as they were before but i would predict far less RoD will be made. I guess what i'm saying is that unless the recipe for RoP costs 20k it'll still be far better to make the RoP and save yourself the huge losses involved making thousands of RoD than make the mana/heal pots you'll get making SRs/BRs you'd make anyway.
  2. Ring of power

I'd guess RoD value will go up since the demand will be higher and people won't need to make thousands in the hope of a RoP so the supply will reduce. I'd say around 100gc each. I'd like to see more RoD to try to rejuvinate the crafting market, maybe 20.
  3. Ring of power

Or if the potions get improved, maybe like the restore spell?
  4. Warning!

He tricked one of my guild into PVPing and then drew a sword, PKing them and keeping their stuff. Also a while back when i was trying to return a DB he PMed me saying his "brother" had been playing as him and died in "nordcarn south cave". Of course he couldn't tell me anything that was in the DB since it hadn't been him playing. Funny part was he'd somehow managed to get past all the skels and garg with <10 a/d only to die on an armed gob. Equally funny was that he was still claiming it was his when the real owner was standing next to me and listed most of the contents.
  5. Selling stuff

    changed everything up there
  6. Crafting: You should be able to buy supplies, make something, sell at profit. With crafting you simply can't do this so crafters don't pass any gc to alchemists/harvesters. An NPC who bought at about cost would get money flowing down the chain of crafters/alchemists/harvesters. Monsters drop every single craftable item (except c2 rings?), if they stopped then maybe crafters could sell rings at a profit to the alchemists/harvesters they bought supplies from or to the fighters who those alchemists bought MM cloaks from. Manu: Problem here is monster drops and/or far too cheap NPC prices on everything but the steel shield, plate and serp. The result is all the manuers competing on very few items that not many people want to buy and therefore low prices. Also the monster dropped books mean people can quite cheaply get the skill to make some of these items (steel shield/serp). One suggestion i liked which might fix this, i think it was Blackthorne's idea: 1) raise the NPC prices on everything so a manuer can sell it for cheaper. 2) stop monsters dropping any books/finished articles. The books would become a money sink to maybe replace the manu items that you previously had to buy from NPCs. Instead of dropping finished articles more drops should follow the serp stone model, instead of putting a manuer out of business you become his supplier. So for instance feran horns are used to make some kind of dagger or ogre bones are a component in an armour. Similar things for potions, some new stronger potions could require cyclops eyes or plasma (from Phantoms). These things would have a small chance of being successfully harvested from a dead monster, after all you're a fighter not a butcher This would keep fighters able to sell things to make a profit while bringing manuers back into the loop and therefore the alchemists/harvests. As with crafting an NPC could be added to buy the finished products therefore allowing money to flow through the market better. But with this idea where would the money flow out of the system? Magic weapons can only do so much. Perhaps aswell as components from fighters more items should need components only available from NPCs.
  7. Scorpo

You would have to be totally cookoo bananas to give any kind of power to someone who asks that much
  8. Need the current market price for some items

    It's also less than the ingredients to make them. Two reasons i only make tele rings for personal use. EDIT: just for completeness here are the values through the production cycle of a DP ring: DP ring (80-90gc) -> 1 Gold Ring (70-80gc) + 1 polished sapphire (15-20gc) + 1 FE (3gc) + 1/2 FP (6gc) = 94-109gc -> 2 Gold Bars (70-80gc) + 3 FE (9gc) + 1 Raw Sapphire (3gc) + 2 WE (10-12gc) + 1 Gem Sanding Paper (10gc) + 1FP (11gc) = 113-125gc
  9. The Ants

They do buy BRs for 25gc + vial when they have the money. Only trouble is in the current nest they never have the money
  10. Instead of the current guild tag colouring system would it be possible to define a few relationships (either built in ones or specified by the guild master, ie. Ally, Friendly, Neutral, Enemy) and assign colours to them? A guild master could then sort all other guilds into these classes. The reason for this, as you might have guessed from the topic, is summoning in PK areas. Quite often when you're involved in PK wars there are members of several allied guilds fighting together on the same side, making any summoning very hazardous. Once ally/friend/etc relationships are defined properly it should be possible to stop summons from attacking members of allied/friendly guilds and make summoning a little bit more useful.
  11. Alliances and PK Summoning

woops, i did search, somehow missed that
  12. Revival spell

Bring back from dead, full health, and no equipment loss sounds like too much good, even for a high level spell. It's just like sitting someones DB but you use a whole bunch of essence instead of waiting for them to come back, maybe make it not work in PK areas? I don't like the using it on yourself part, that really is too much. Also the DB will have an owner associated with it won't it? If the bag is unusable for 5s then the owner will be the player who died.
  13. What we're working on

Will these all be better than the titanium long? Can the titanium long be removed when these are added? Can the new swords not be dropped by monsters please? Looking good though, fine work
  14. New LosoL (xauron)

Uhh..no, the char really is locked.. wow, well i did say it'd happened before The following thread is why i suspected sarcasm http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8025
  15. New LosoL (xauron)

I do believe i detect a note of sarcasm in Entropy's post, i could be wrong though, it has happened before ...
  16. New style bagjumping?

As he stated: So he must've been running fairly low on health towards the end of the fight. For you it was also an Ant. Ant's were already covered. Maybe because he saw 2gc and 2 bones and thought nothing of taking it? Maybe because (thought) he'd just saved someones skin and didn't imagine they'd object.
  17. New style bagjumping?

Look at it this way: you see someone engaged in combat, nearly dead, making no effort to heal himself. You can either: a) help him out by killing the monster then carry on as you were see what happens and should he die be prepared to sit on his bag for 5mins+
  18. Yugo no honor guild

I don't recall reading anyone being told to stop whining when they report a bag stolen. Are they whining or spreading information on who you are safe to PVP around? I don't see any complaint in the OP.
  19. Yugo no honor guild

What I mean is: If you attack somebody you can kill easily for no reason expect it to have consequences. It's not against any law but it could be. Not against the game laws (the unbreakable laws of nature if you like) but against some player code which we as a community enforce any way we can (be that through vigilante groups or community wide boycotting), those who choose to play with honour against those who choose to play without.
  20. New style bagjumping?

Maybe he saw another player in trouble and jumped in to help him out? I've done this myself and been thanked for it.
  21. Yugo no honor guild

Murder: Unlawful premeditated killing of a human being by a human being 1. In PK it's not unlawful; 2. It's not even human being by human being. It's more like sending bunch of bits to the other bunch of bits that happens to be called underground; So... no it doesn't make you outlaw. It makes you not a very nice person. OK, maybe not murder but it is theft, you're taking things that took people time to make/acquire. If you took a shortcut home down a dark alley and got mugged would you expect the police to say "it's your own fault for going in that alley, stop whining."? The threads posted in this forum aren't even requesting objects returned, they're merely posting information so the rest of us know who we are unsafe to PVP near. Why do they become the objects of such flaming for making a post which can only help others? His response to "what's the point?" was "Your armour is the point.", sounds pretty unprovoked to me. He even had not sent these bits anywhere. OK, i strayed away from this topic and onto this forum as a whole, many of these kinds of threads get posted and then flamed to death. Equally you wouldn't walk into a boxing ring and expect the fellows in there to break off fighting to end you in one punch. Should two flyweights sparing in a ring be constantly on the lookout for a heavyweight jumping in the ring, knocking them both out and running away with their gloves?
  22. Yugo no honor guild

This forum isn't about rules. If unprovoked murder of a bystander(*) doesn't make you an outlaw then what does? *someone in the arena for reasons other than PK EDIT: I see lots of replies in this forum along the lines of "it's PK, if you go into a PK area expect to be PKed, stop complaining about it" but in my opinion should you choose to attack weaker people unprovoked (can i compare it to mugging people who go into dark alleys? I'm sure you'd have no arguments against calling a mugger an outlaw) and generally act like an "outlaw" then you should expect to be posted here and shouldn't complain about it either.
  23. Katil_2036 from cash

He attacked someone else while training in DP arena, took greaves and some other things from him. He was later relieved of a rosto
