Orcs

"The morning brought us peace at last. Last night's battle had been hard and the men were exhausted. Not much ground had been won, but we had kept our position. The moans of the wounded served as a ghastly background noice for the dawning battle field.
When I gathered the officers for a short briefing and a body count, we heard a drumming sound. Was it our reinforcements? No it sounded - harsher.
Soon the infamous words echoed; to battle! to battle! We took up our swords and shields to face the enemy, the drumming grew louder. Then we saw our enemy, a fierce race taller than men with green skin - we had encountered - the orcs"
- Captain Senir, sole survivor of the Portland Guard Elite Regiment.
History
The origin of the orcs is not widely known, but during the great war many races were spawned by the dark forces. The shadow god - Mortos is believed to be the father of the orcs. He placed the orcs on Draia where he pleased, and where the orc appeared chaos erupted. The orcs faced strong opposition, buy finally they carved a place for their own. So was the dawn of the orc race.
Physiology
Orcs are quite intelligent, making strong tactics in battle. They are also very fearsome creatures, as they are usually bigger in stature than a human, and getting wounded only makes them want to fight even harder. They also don't fear much for their lives, and will have fights to the death. Standing at around 6-8 feet tall, they have greenish blue- brown skin, and wear their own unique armor and clothing, usually finding those from other races to be inferior to their own weaponry.
Society
The orcs form tribes, based on survival of the fittest. Weak and wounded are quickly weeded out and often eaten by the stronger. The females are the weaker of this fearsome race, but the females compensate for this by being even more ferocious than the males.
They believe in little but fear and strength. Their patron diety is Mortos - the god of destruction.
Standard tactic of the orcs is a head-on assault, using their height and strength to their advantage.
