Cilestiel Report post Posted June 18, 2007 I was thinking, when a sword or a piece of armour is made, it has a cetrtan well... grade, for example you look at two swords, made by two different people, one person has been makeing swords for his whole life, the other has only been makeing swords for a few years, which sword is going to be the better sword, which one will generaly last longer, and potentialy do more dammage? the master sword maker, so why not have different grades of sword, for example, badly made iron sword, iron sword, well made iron sword, and master iron sword, you could have it so when you make an iron sword, you have the recommended level for makeing iron swords then you make alot of badly made iron swords, maby 1 or 2 iron swords, the really rare chance of makeing a good iron sword, and a 1 in 9999999999 chance of makeing a master sword (out of luck) the higher your manu level the better the chances of mkeing better swords. they could do different dammage what do you think Have different break rates cost different prices just an idea

The reasons why this isn't a good idea (for example, that each grade of weapon would need a definition as well as its own storage slot, among other things) have been covered a few times already.
