My websites

Recommended Posts

I have been having a couple of problems with DNS routing through the .BE websites I host, so I have set up a dyndns alias for all my sites.

From now on, my sites can be accessed via http://www.labby.is-a-geek.com, more specifically if for example you need my quickspell generator site the more stable, but unfortunately longer, site would be http://www.eternal-lands.be.labby.is-a-geek.com/spells/

or for a list of the currently online (TC) members the site would be

http://www.tcofel.be.labby.is-a-geek.com

Basically all you need to do is put the original website name in front of .labby.is-a-geek.com and my server will serve the same page as the original web site.

I will go through my old posts and update the links as I find them.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The old links will still work, it just adds a redundancy llayer and allows me to gracefully terminate the .BE accounts when they are due for renewal (the .BE accounts were free, but I bet they will cost me a fortune to renew once the 12 months is up, and I am not going to get stung for it once the time comes).

My frontends may be naff, but the backends are something else - that is where my true strength lies.

Btw your site is naff too, but most of the time I just click away from pages that annoying without comment B)

I have an upcoming project that I won't reveal on the forums, but let's just say that people that know about dynamic creation have already contracted me for something very special, and my backend talent will shine through a with a very pretty (read someone else's) frontend.

See you on the digg front page when it's done

I had internet connectivity issues, and I had to run for a day or so using my mobile phone 3g connection. There was no way I could allow the sites to run, I am on a 'fair use' tariff that the sites would have ate through in no time flat.

Everything is back to normal now however, enjoy the sites :)
