The Alch Goddess has finally arrived!

Recommended Posts

Without a doubt, quite an expensive journey to getting through all the Alch Goddess quests.

But seeing the "alch: +xxx" numbers over my head with that 20% extra is such a beautiful sight!

I think the cost, despite how expensive it is to get through all the quests, is more than worth it long-run.

Being a heavy alcher who just reset, this couldn't possibly have come at a better time either. ;)

Anyone else hit the magic +20% for the alch goddess yet? Worth it to you?

I was excited when i heard about the alchemy god, but after completing the quests on the test server and seeing the astronomically high cost, I've decided not to bother, because i know in future I will want to serve mortos. If i serve elandria menwhile, i probably wont do enough alchemy to make it pay off.

But for people who are really into alchemy it is definitely worthwhile as long as you don't ever intend to switch gods.

Basically, the theory behind this is that since alch is already such an easy skill, if you want to make it easier, it's gonna cost you a pretty penny ^_^

Worth it. Worth it. Worth it. And, if I might add... worth it. :P

And if that's the reasoning... buying a dozen nexus might be cheaper than the Harvesting god if it ever gets added. :D

I'm waiting to see what you need to complete it, as I was thinking of taking this God over on the PK Server, but if it's that expensive here, I don't care to think how much it will cost there. (I don't know what you need to do each level, so I someone wants to PM me what you need feel free.) :P

Heh, maybe more time consuming than expensive.. then again.. depends on the player. The next god quest is coming in October, and I think it's going to be the potions god :P

I have a very high alc lvl with a high OA and I am Godless. I will not reset to serve this god. I understand that making levels on alchemy is very hard to do at times but I like the challenge.

For the cost of the quest and the work to regain my OA levels just does not seem to work for me but that is probably due to the fact that I alc alot and know the lvls will come slowly.

Besides I am in no rush to max that lvl. I can alc anything in the game with ease so the 20% extra just doesn't work for me.

My two cents,

There's one good thing about taking Alch god: great OA exp

Scoring alch levels is easy ineed. But also: alch is needed almost in all other skills... a/d -- you need HE's, magic - duh, c'mon, no essies no spells, same with crafting (WEs, EE, ME) and manu (FEs, EFEs) and so on...

The thing is: you alch and alch even if you don't aim at being tech uber alcher... you just have to, and this will never end. Getting even more alch exp (20% is pretty much) provides not only good alch level but decend and constant exp for your oa levels.

1.5+ months later...

Sweet experience. Being low 80's alcher now, the bonus got me to this level pretty quick. And better is the effect on OA.

I can't imagine ever wanting to drop this goddess. The experience considering the amount of alching I do is just too good. The expense of going through the quests was more than worth it.

Now if that pot goddess will arrive soon, I'll be in OA heaven. :)

Think that question falls under giving too much info about quests, which isn't permitted.

But it's not a god/dess for a starting player.

Where you can really save money by being with the alch god is mixing hydro and wolf bars. If youre at an alch level where the difference between +5 from a pot and +10 from the blessing(which costs 500gc btw) is really crucial, you'll lose a lot less money on crit failures.

Well I've done all quests month ago, and I am sure that it's worth it.

I bought all quests items(~150kgc)

But when were scholar day(29%) I had over 300k xp in hour(makin HEs). I'm sure that at bars could be better.
