No icons in character creation. =(

Tried several different resolutions, as many of the different options in video settings as I could find, etc.

 

Running 2gb RAM, 512mb Nvidia graphics, 1.8ghz AMD Athlon 3000+, etc. Tried 1440x900, 1024x786, the 1152xwhatever resolution. All in 32 bit colors or whatever.

 

Icons just don't show up so I can't create a character. Seems like everything else works fine so far though. Any thoughts?

Just to clarify is the problem:

1) That you can you see the complete window on-screen but the icons are not present.

or

2) That the bottom of the window is off-screen so you can not see the icons.

 

Please can you post the contents of $HOME/.elc/error_log.txt

 

Also, which distro are you using? Are you using the standard download .zip file or a package?
