Guest Maddie Report post Posted April 20, 2011 At what point exactly does it crash? Do you get to the login screen where you can go into the options before it crashes? When I click OK to connect to a server in the EL Launcher, I see the login screen for a half-second and then is disappears completely. The error log then opens shortly thereafter. korrode Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Wherever the EL data is stored, you will find a file called el.ini, in there is an option that probably currently is set as follows: #poor_man= 0 Try changing it to 1 and then start the client. Also, depending on how far through the startup process the client is getting, it may have created your per-user config files in ~/.elc, if ~/.elc/main/el.ini exists, change the setting in there also. If that doesn't help, if you run EL from a terminal what output is given when it crashes?

I tried everything you said ( it didn't work :[ ), ran RL in the console and got this output: /usr/games/eternallands: line 170: 4679 Segmentation fault $el_client $config $* &>~/.elc/terminal_log.txt
