At those levels, wolves and the easiest stone is still a high percentage to fail. You will burn through ingredients for not much benefit.

Foxes are ok, but not the greatest xp/ings ratio. I would suggest actually sticking to snakes for as long as you can stand it. A good strategy is to summon in naralik and get your snakes to kill other snakes, because as you probably know getting those snake skins can be a pain in the butt. :)

Not sure of the levels, but I did snakes (In naralik as Spleenie says), foxes (in nw dp), blasted through the wolf furs in sto (in arena), then all out on boars (in arena) - they don't need any fur, just bones/meat/le.

Once summoning in arena, sit in store wearing com & fr cape whilst you alch - recharge your mana.

Fastest arena to get to from sto is skf from nc (need mm to get there).

As soon as you hit 50%+ success on bear stones (with a summon pot) go for it.

The exp is much more, and at least you can sell the stones that you do make so it is not a total gc loss.

being at level 26 myself i can just agree with what Raz said here.

I do bear stones with the help of Summoning potion now.

If you dont have the nexus i'd recommend boar, because you dont need any furs for it and costs/exp ratio is good (in contrast to what some ppl say).

Whitestone is also not too bad from sto to Grahms arena, if you use the teleporter....

If you don't have the nexus for summon stones - I would not bother summoning :D

a nice little trick (it is a bit slow)

Find your self a nice bear spawn,

MD bear for mana, magic xp

Kill bear for some a/d xp

Summon boar for some summon xp

Keep bear furs, and make your stones. Not fast xp, but steady and not too expensive this way. Depends a lot on your levels if you can md and kill bear :D

nonononononono......I dont have the nexus for stones and never plan on it, but I love summoning. Ever since I summoning my first hoard of 20 rabbits and watching them swarm a creature to kill it I fell in love with it. It was like watching ants swarming a bug to eat it. :P

Yes, stones are a great way to get levels, but all the longtime summoners fell in love with summoning well before stones came into being.

Personally, my goal is to be able to summon mountain chimmies with very little failures.

Portal room drops you off in WV directly in front of the skill academy, which is above where any chicken would be walking. 2 seconds and you're in the academy.

Inside is a summoning arena and a storage, same map so walking back/forth between them is a breeze and takes only a few seconds each way.

By far the closest arena to sto.
