MAYDAY Report post Posted June 20, 2017 I have a character linked to my account that I do not know the password. Its name is Gwinnie, or something similar. It is a female dwarf, and has 3 or 4 days of activity. Please help recover my dwarf. MAYDAY
revi Report post Posted June 20, 2017 Contact radu, convince him it's your character and pay 5$... (oh, and make sure you spell the character name correctly) Otoh, is it worth the hassle for a character with 3 or 4 days of activity?
Maxine Report post Posted June 23, 2017 (edited) There is no char with that name: http://www.eternal-lands.com/view_user.php?user=gwinnie A char named Gwinny exists, but is definitely not yours. If you still have the computer you played this char on, check the Documents > Eternal Lands > Main directory for a file named counters_yournamehere.dat But not worth the hassle i.m.o. Oh, by the way, accounts are not "linked" to a forum account, we just expect people to use the same forum account name as their main char name Edited June 23, 2017 by Maxine
Guest Nemo_Oceansoul Report post Posted July 4, 2017 I equally have forgotten the password, ive been away for a few years and just recently refound the game. Now trying to remember which password my 15 year old mind had used. The characters name was Nemo_Oceansoul
revi Report post Posted July 4, 2017 Looking at the levels of nemo_oceansoul (http://www.eternal-lands.com/view_user.php?user=nemo_oceansoul) I'm not sure the character is worth the 5$ a password recovery wuold cost you. Unless you are attached to the name, of course.
Guest Nemo_Oceansoul Report post Posted July 4, 2017 i am fairly attached to the name admittedly =w=; so how would i contact him? =w=;
revi Report post Posted July 4, 2017 Either make a new character and contact him in game, or try forum PM here. I think a new character would be the easiest way, but it depends on your time zone (he tends to log in during European evening/night, ~9pm GMT). And of course, besides paying the 5$, you'll have to convince him it is your character
Guest Nemo_Oceansoul Report post Posted July 4, 2017 =w=; considering he and i discussed an idea for a game i had wanted to work on back when i first found the game i think i can convince him it was my character.... especially because my email and my character and my forum name are similar. though admittedly i only created a forum account last night (still waiting on admin to give posting permissions) so ill probably just poke him at his email =w=; and hopefully get an answer before too very long.
