Small team instance

Recommended Posts

I know that most people are looking for the teamwork strategy of 5+ team members but i am looking for the best wielding profit instance... I am proficient at the 2-man 60-80 instance and am looking for other players that would like to start smaller teams for the 80-100 instance... I can do both instances but would like to start tuning my small team 80-100 skills...

What i am looking for is other players that want to do small team instances and to know more detail on the 80-100 instance creatures and weaknesses... And also methods of how best to beat them...

also looking for recorded times and drops of the instances... The reason for this is i have found that the more often you do an instance the worse the drops... And for those who are going to say the drops are totally random and nothing affects them at all, save your breath... I have been told this before...

Thanks

P.S. Please no "don't go with so'an'so"... i don't want this to be a list of those who not to go with

Nice to see you back, Orick.

Ingame, contact Andy, Vino or me concerning low-man advanced instance prospects. For the benefit of the thread, here are my (very) humble opinions: -

1. 80-100 instance closely resembles the 60-80 instance except the possibility of getting Yetis as the first wave. The only major difference is that here, the mirroring monsters have a considerably lower toughness, and the difference between their defence level and player attack level is more drastic, so they mirror more frequently and strongly.

2. For a low-man (2-4 players) team, the attack level of the fighters should be 90+, ideal if 95+. Dexterity of 32 or above will be required for near-100% hitrate (since fire and ice arrows are frequently used in conjunction with swords).

3. The scarba-equivalent wave (here 2x Japita) is often married, and the mobs have a very high hitrate, so usage of a SoP becomes necessary, even for a full-fledged tank like you. Subsequent waves are also better tackled with a SoP than without.

4. For attackers, wave 4 (Nasparliu) is best handled with a thermal or radioactive weapon. If there are sufficient fighters (hence sufficient lowering of mob defence), arrows work well, but I am unsure if this will remain feasible in low-man instances.

5. This is a very large map when compared with the 60-80 swamp, hence if mules carry in large amounts of supplies, then restocking may be a big time constraint.

Equipments: -

1. For waves 2, 3 and 5, the halberd may easily be used, unless damage dealt is too low. For waves 1 and 4, a good sword is best, since these mobs have higher defence.

2. Arrows need to be brought in, because Yetis are wave 1, and because the instance only drops fire arrows.

3. For waves 3 and 5, and maybe wave 4, it is recommended that the tank use def/eva/wild pots.

I'm sure more qualified posts will follow, those were just my observations.
