tokie Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Well, I don't know what happened, but I know how it happened.I dropped a small note pad with a pen on one end on the keyboard and when I looked up, it said : "Video will change on next restart" in a light bluish color...and when I signed off I re-started it, and I got a Black Screen with a white rectangular box floating around with some gibberish about being out of range or something stupid... Does anyone know what the Hell happened ? Respectfully,Tokie
darrock Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Try this. Start EL Client Do not log in Select 'Settings' button Select 'Video' tab Make sure 'Full Screen' is not selected In Video Mode, highlight 640x480x16 Close the Options Window by hitting the X in upper right corner Press Alt-x to exit client Start EL Client normally and log in. Your screen will probably be a different size than it was, so you can go into Options again and try to find a resolution that works for you.
Maxine Report post Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) If the screen size has not changed, do the same before logging in, you might also want to select "poor man" in the options in the last tab, just to be safe. Then log in and type (blindly probably) #save #exit and then log in again. The first line should save your changes settings, the second logs you off Edited October 4, 2014 by Maxine
Littlebig Report post Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) I would like to add my experience; on EL.INI videomodes there is not all screen/monitor sizes, there is only 10 options, i had years wrong screen size, and characters shown slightly bold. then one day i made some tests, and add my own row; 11 = 1440x900 32bpp -and finally see real view, circular objects are circular, not oval Edited October 4, 2014 by Littlebig
