As many know #date command does not always work, sometimes you need to enter it twice,

In instances we often use clock to keep track of ground bag and also use right click of compass to post locations to active channel.

What if right clicking clock also worked?

Combining these commands:

Today is the 17th day in the month of Nimlos, the year 0052, Age of the Eternals
Game Time: 01:26:35

to

It is now: 01:26:35 17 Nimlos 0052

I think a lot of people would find it useful.

In fact if all right clicking would be disabled in channel 3 that would be cool too.

First off, right click doesn't post anything anywhere, it opens context menus.

Compass to channel would be ctrl-click, and I'd rather not see that implemented for the clock:

we already see too many coordinate posts in @6, no reason to get time posts there as well.

If you want to have a timestamp for your instance bags:

- enable time stamps for messages (Options->HUD->Show Time Stamps)

- make an alias for when you drop the bag,

and you're all set, no need for client modifications.

As rigth clicking doesn't post anything, no need to disable it for channel 3.

In fact, disabling it for just that channel would disable the associated context menu...

And if you want to start disabling things for channels, I'd rather see channel 3 require "@@3",

i.e. it cannot be your default channel. Ideally use "@" for guild channel only, but that would be

a bit nasty for invance and instance channels...

There's also already the right-click context menu for input fields.  This has Cut/Copy/Paste and Date/Time/Coords.

Sorry did not have client open when I posted I meant right click like compass.  Not sure how you could post in guild channel since no way to select it.

Why do we need this feature?

If anything just make Shift+click clock behave like shift+click compass. Output to current channel.
