Segmentation fault / Speicherzugriffsfehler

Hey,

 

i cant get into the game anymore because of a segmentation fault ... and i have no idea what to do and where is came from so out of the blue.

 

In my terminal it looks like this:

ann@idefix:~$/eternallands/el_linux$ ./el.x86.linux.bin

Speicherzugriffsfehler

 

thats it ... Speicherzugriffsfehler is german and means segmentation fault.

 

Firstly it opens the launcher but after the login it crashes and displays the segmantation fault in the terminal.

What can i do to fix this?

i found a way to fix it.

 

i typed in:

ann@idefix:~/eternallands/el_linux$ mv shaders-bak

 

i have no idea what it does, but the gamed works again

that doesn't sound like a fix. mv moves a file/folder same as renaming but you have no output name so I would guess name is now blank
