bluap Report post Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) Note: This change has no effect on the Ubuntu packages. If you use the Debian packages I produce for EL then you will be interested in a change. The previous repository will no longer be maintained but a new repository has been created. The new repository provides both 32 and 64 bit packages, all packages are signed with my gpg key. If you are already using the previous package archive then you need to remove the entry(s) in your sources.list. Edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file and remove any entries that mention www.twinmoons.org.uk, e.g.: deb http://www.twinmoons.org.uk/pkg/debian/ ./ deb-src http://www.twinmoons.org.uk/pkg/debian/ ./ To set up the new entries: # Open a terminal and change to the root user: su - # Copy the sources.list file to into the apt sources directory: cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ wget http://www.twinmoons.org.uk/debian/twinmoons.org.uk.list # Import the repository gpg key: apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com D8BEADBEB10E30F2 # Update package list apt-get update To install EL, use your preferred package manager or as root use: apt-get install eternallands You may be interested in the other EL related packages contained in the repository too: eternallands-cvs - the Eternal Lands client build from a recent version of CVS eternallands-music - the music package for Eternal Lands elmapviewer - display maps and map marks, etc eltime-applet - a time, date and day gnome desktop applet for Eternal Lands Edited March 1, 2011 by bluap

bluap Report post Posted July 7, 2017 I'm not sure if anyone still uses my Debian packages but a major update was required for Debian Stretch; my GPG key was only 1024 bits so I have had to create a new key. I have kept the old repositories for Debian Jessie and created new ones for Stretch. The new repositories are here: https://twinmoons.org.uk/apt/ with new instructions shown in the page.
