For quests not recorded in quest log have NPC tell status

Recommended Posts

For dailies each has a NPC who will tell you current status of quest (XAQ, Dorel, Haidir, etc) even if not recorded in quest log; why some are recorded and others are nt is not understood by me.

It would helpful for other quests when you revisit NPC you would get your current status (Novac as example gives partial response regarding 2nd and 3rd quests to at least give you idea that quest is not completef but Haidir gives you no clue whether you have completed pests quest or still need to kill deer, etc). It is very hard as example to know what you have broke for the noob break armor quest if you have lost your quest log. Personally I like how the Tanner NPC thanks you for your help before you buy leather. And it would be very appropriate for Elvry to tell players 'You got scammed out a of Scythe, want to go double or nothing?"

Personally, I'd love it if you could PM Haidir and Xaq and ask them what they want. I can't tell you how many times I've been on c2, zip over to c1 to check my dailies and go right back to c2 where I was to begin with. ;)

The simple answer here is a quest window....a real one. That regardless what computer your on. Recognises and tells you all quests in the game. Weather they are complete, incomplete or in the middle of. And if its in the middle of should tell you where you are. My character has been active for over a decade. I have no clue what quests ive started, finished or completed. I rmember runescape had a very easy table.

Completed quests were red. Quests not begun were green. And yellow quests were in progress and if you click it. It tells you right where you are in the quest. This would be a huge asset and posibly bring some new life to questing.
