New Item idea, blanks

I would like to suggest we get an item called Planks, make able with manufacture skill, out of wood logs.

which in return can be used together with threads to make looms,

or together with Nails, to make Barricades (something else that is missing in this game), and maybe a few other things in the future.

Could you propose a gold sink to replace the looms? At the moment they are essential for tailoring and NPC only, so a good gold sink

 

As I understood it, barricades (as planned at one point) had some problems with potential resource blocking,

so i don't see them in-game anytime soon

the myth money sink, always an argument against things. its cheaper to buy white fabrique then to make it with looms. So the money think would be the thread thats needed. Anyway if you consider the time you need to harvest and make stuff and so on. and compare it with training on monsters and the gc you can make there, the problem are not items that will be makeable when they where not before, but the way the game brings gc into game. Manufacturable items are never that big of a problem but more a gc eater then creater.

 

These days almost all Esses are Money think Steel and iron Bars are money sink almost all are because gc comes in for fighters so easy, and the mixers are left out

That is sadly true. Most everything but fighting is a money sink in the game.

It's not a good sink for the very rich. The very rich just buy tailoring big books, and later on, white fabric (and/or dyes) directly from the npc. The only people that mix dyes, and white fabric are those that make 200-2000x less gc than fighters.

Allright, I'm an idiot, sorry I gave my view. But, I don't see any proposals to correct the root cause: too much easy, direct gc for the (top) fighters.

 

For the rest, have fun twiddling in the margins proposing ever more new items.

Never said your an Idiot. Actually I do respect you. But always when a new mixing item comes in play, and a use for it made said, someone comes with but its a money sink, look at the many proposals. and then look at where mixing goes in this game.

 

Forget about the looms. Planks are in the rl one of the most important building items. and should be in the game too and could be used for lots of stuff, that one can think of. a wooden frame for a loom and the barricades where just 2 things that are in game (even if Barricades just are there as a book) that came in mind.

 

I started the game as a mixer, and now what i do when i am not afk is, hunting invdrag, kill acw, make instances, just to get the gc, that i use to read on big books, or buy stuff that others harv to mix. I am buying my he and tele esses at magic store, and give stuff away to others. Its easier to make the gc with fighting then with mixing its less work.

yes sorry am changing that
