Spelling And Grammar Errors

Recommended Posts

Post any spelling or grammar errors you encounter in the game, and I will fix them ASAP. When I say "fixed", that really means "will be fixed the next time the server restarts".

Edit by Aisy: Any errors in the Encyclopedia/Help Window/Skills/Rules ingame window please post here:

The past tense of cast is cast (not casted.)

"Remote healing was successfully cast"

Fixed, also "[player] casted harm on you"

"Restauration" is not exactly misspelled, it's just a less common spelling (plus, it's inconsistent with the potion item description). I'll change it though.

Does stuff in the EL encyclopedia count?

Also, to add something...

All the fight books are singular except for humans fighting.

IE:

Dwarf Fighting

Elf Fighting

Troll Fighting

Humans Fighting

Shouldn't they all be singular or all be plural?

Storage window:

Valey of Dwarves Ring -> Valley of Dwarves Ring

Ring of Dissengage -> Ring of Disengage

Unicorn Medalion -> Unicorn Medallion

Moon Medalion -> Moon Medallion

Stars Medalion -> Stars Medallion

Some inventory items are in plural, while some are in singular. For consistency, all items should be either plural or singular.

Restoration/Heal:

"Your material points are already at their max. But you did loose the reagents and ethereal points for this spell :D" -> "Your material points are already at their max. But you did lose the reagents and ethereal points for this spell :D"

Storage interface:

"You just withdrawn N [item]. What else can I do for you?"

should be changed to either

"You have just withdrawn N [item]. What else can I do for you?"

or

"You just withdrew N [item]. What else can I do for you?"

When you kick someone, It says "You were transfered to the General chat channel, by (mod). Usually this means you were talking about misc. thing son the noob channel."

I should be things on.

Also, could it be offtopic on a channel rather than misc things on the noob channel?

I've always preferred:

"You were transfered to the General chat channel, by (mod). Usually this means you were talking about misc. Think son, the noob channel!"

An event when harvesting says "Darkstar was blessed by the queen of he nature".

"Queen of Nature" would be better english - or reconsider the message!

Not sure if this has been considered, but:

Pickaxe's Placid broke...etc?

Should be:

Placid's pickaxe broke...etc
