You're using XP, eh...Ok, open Control Panel (Start->Control Panel) and list EVERY file contained in there...I'm doubtful you have acceleration or GL support.

Erm, on XP, there should be a hardware acceleration controller there...this may relate to your problem.

Read Umrion's post at the top of this page. That grass object file IS NOT the problem!!!

I think this is either a hardware or driver problem, make sure u put the e3dlist.txt in the EL directory.

See your display settings by going to display in control panel.

You may also want to see if the latest drivers are installed and give us details of your graphics card, in the system -> hardware; control panel applet.

For god sake. There are no file like that grass5.2d0.

Download that: http://unix.eternal-lands.net/misc/e3dlist.txt and copy to your EL directory - it should

solve the problem.

Regards.

Thats exactly what i was saying plat.

Erm, e3d_list.txt missing wouldn't make it bring up an ERROR box on Windows. An error box means a segfault, and contains the equivalent of a Core file.

More detail lee...how quickly does it crash...

Wait, which client version are you using?
