The AQ is an abbreviation for Autism Quotient like IQ is used for intelligence Quotient.

 

This test is specific made for people with Aspergers Syndrom, a type of High functioning autism.

One of the specifications is a narrow range of interests, with those interest used in extreme use (like playing all day el for lots of hours).

A lot of these people are those that are often known as nerds/geeks.

Lower numbers means that you are less autistic :-)

 

All people have something autistic in their behaviour/way of thinking - it's always a question of how much autist you are before you can get the diagnosis telling in which degree you are autistic (the scale goes from normal to infantile autism, but this test can only point in the direction of whether you are somewhat autistic (asberger) or more normal). Some people are born with autism, whilst others have become autists due to events in his/her life. If you're born with autism it's something you have to learn to live with as it's caused by a small part of the brain malfunctioning - if you've become an autist due to events in your life it's possible, but hard, to change your mental state to a more normal state.

I think the statistics say that 1/15-1/20 of all humans have enough autistic symptoms to be diagnosed with Asberger.
