Time

Recommended Posts

I posted this once before but I'll do it again.

El as everyone should know has its very own measurements in how long it takes for a day to go by.

Instead of just making it the general. How about adding on little things to make the game feel more alive to players. Might be more work but it would be interesting.

List:

Shop closing times.

Npc’s go home at certain hours; you can see the npc leaving the origin point and heading to a new location.

Certain flowers bloom at night

Npc’s react differently at certain hours. (Not when it comes to quests, just jibber jabber)

Maybe even npc’s run out of stock until reloading day.

one problem i see about npc's gonig to bed/not having things in stock is that it would suck if the only time you can play(or when you have time to go in the game) the game is at night..so you're stuck for 3hrs or so until the npc reopens just to buy/sell stuff...

or have some stores open also at night, and some open all day...

that would solve that poblem. I mean the maret in WSC would close at night, since its cold, and dark - while some indoor stores maybe wont close?

ur not thinking, that just opens the window for more npc's.

There are such things as the night shift.

The only gap would be the npc walking to the store.

Also some stores could be closed all night, but other similar stores open.

Or you could shorten the ammount of time it takes for a day to go by.
