Android client, 9th release

Made the horizontal camera moving bar wider

Change the scalling of the higher resolutions, so the interface should be bigger.
Now the minimap is fully scaled.
Fixed some bugs
There are some changes to the gl4es library we are using, which could make the game faster.
Included the Burn maps for the missing tab maps

some feed back:

 

i do not like the camera move bars, they are the biggest thing on the screen and are very intrusive (tablet) they could have the option in menu for opaque, transparent or invisible.

 

on the console screen the health bar and co are very slightly over the last line of chat /channel text,

 

the health bar and co have no identification for new players to know what they are on game screen

 

if you have all the channel boxes open at top in console mode then start clicking them off one by one a couple will freak out and the text of that box turns to blocks

 

the mini map is much better , thanks

 

if you included some of burn maps, why not all?

 

tapping on storage window anywhere other than on an item leaves a 0 (zero) on the display

 

 

only 5 of the 6 inv boxes on right hand side quick bar not 6, i guess its for space but maybe an option in settings?

 

X on trade window to abort is smaller than store and inv ones, takes a few clicks to hit it

Whether you like it or not, the size is not too big, and it ensures that the finger actually lands on them, rather than near them. Not sure how making them opaque would be better, and making them invisible? Really?

Huh? It's been like this since the beginning, why are you bring it up now? Yes, it might be a bit confusing, but they will learn, and I think it is in the tutorial too.

Can't reproduce this issue. Can you give me step by step instructions on how to reproduce it?

Ah, I forgot about that. Will fix it next time I guess. Not a big issue.

Again, it's been like this from the beginning. Why bring it up now?

The answer is that there is not enough room for 6.

With respect to the number of quick bars, on my tablet I could probably fit at least 8, possibly 10, so a setting for that would be very welcome.

 

Is there a way to scale the dots on the minimap? I can barely see them, kinda dangerous when there is an invasion going on :P. I reduced the minimap scale to 0.5, as I have it on my PC, very nice. The burn maps are a very nice addition too, ty.

 

Not new, but just something I noticed now: When you try to click close to a south exit from a map (eg WS to GP), you cannot click anywhere near the exit. Since I can click on the minimap, it is not a big issue.

 

Another thing that would be nice, is if there could be a way to have the sto open instantly. On the PC you have to rightclick for that and change the settings. Again, not a problem, just something that would be nice.

 

I like these improvements, keep up the good work :)

Hmm, ok, it's a problem with your tablet, for some reason it doesn't support the point size primitive. Nothing I can do about it, unfortunately.

Do you have the exact model of your tablet?

It is kind of hard to see anything on either screen, could you use screenshots instead of a seperate phone camera? (Ctrl+P on PC) (Power button+down volume on android)
This might make it simpler to see the display size for Radu :)

Doesnt work on my tablet, but I think it was perfectly clear you couldnt see anything. Resolution of the images was sufficient for that.

I figured out to make a screenshot on the Galaxy Tab (power and home buttons) and added it to my gallery, no point in doing that for the PC, that looks perfectly normal. I think that after playing for over 10y and making thousands of screenshots I dont need you to tell me how to do that :P Just wanted to show both images recorded the same way.

The buddy list does go over. I'm not sure if this was there before. But it goes through the buddy window.

 

Post a screenshot please. Also, what resolution?

Is there another way to turn on the mini-map besides alt-m? My tabled keyboard doesn't seem to have ctrl or alt, only shift.

 

But other than already known issue, this release seems to be working OK (with limited testing).

Hmm, ok, not sure how I was supposed to figure that one out.

 

Anyway, here's what I see when I turn on the mini-map (sorry, not sure how to set the size):

Well, I guess some older devices don't support all the stuff we need. There are also some problems with particles, etc. Nothing we can do about it.
