crannog Report post Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) Either something is wrong, or I have just got really bad luck!! Harvesting coal today, I lost 3 harvester medallions in 6 hours. I have skeptic perk, so with neutral astro I shouldn't be losing them like this ! Even before i took skeptic, I never had losses like this even with very bad astro. That being said, my personal rule is if I break one, I won't use another for at least 24 hours. Ever since 1.9.4, I've not been able to keep one for an hour, even waiting days or a week appart. revi Report post Posted June 23, 2015 Well, to prove that we'd need all regular users of harvester medallions to post at least the number of 'major' events while using a medallion, and the number of medallions broken. I feel like it's breaking more often than before - but as you say - without some hard(er) statistical evidence it all boils down to be much more likely perception bias by a few users (including myself). What I'm seeing appears to be a significant increase in major events in June. Harvmed breakage rate does not seem different. Note: both me and alt wear harvmeds 99% of the time, regardless of astro. revi Report post Posted June 23, 2015 Well, from Zildings data I notice several things: - the average break rate hasn't changed: over the whole period, the average break rate for Zilding was 3.8 medallions/ 100 events, varying between 1.7 and 5.7, for gnidliz 2,9, varying between 0 and 3.9. - for the last two months those rates were 2.7 and 3 for Zilding, 3.8 and 2.7 for Gnidliz - only the last month seems to have an unusually high number of events (but did he harvest more, or different items?).
