Small precision to that: the whois data also states that the expiry date corresponds to the registrar's sponsoring of the domain, not the agreement with registrant. and last update is 2013-01-08... (so about a year ago). And there is a (short) grace period after the expiration date. So it is possible that the domain has been paid for and won't expire at all. (the only one that can say for sure is the registrant) And in any case, the wiki won't go down tomorrow because the domain has expired. Zilding Report post Posted January 7, 2014 If you know the URL (most of which can be guessed if you're looking for a particular item), one can also google 'cache:el-wiki.net/Cactus' and Google will take you to their cached version (of, in this case, Cactus).
