DarElik Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Do you use the music/sound? If so, disable it. Settings -> Audio -> Disable Sound and Music System. That's what finally got mine to stop crashing on me. And it was constant crashes, though seemingly random times, and it wouldn't ever let me have the client open for more than about 40-60 hours. Since disabling the sound system, I've now had the client running for 350 hours without a crash.

ago Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Try one of Sir Odies development builds. There's been a sound bug that has been fixed in the development version but there has not been a new official release http://www.gm.fh-koeln.de/~linke/EL-Services.html
DarElik Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Hmmm i think its fixed, lets see And it crashed Try this: Open EL and login. Disable sound system. Do a #save command. Close EL and reopen it. (I had forgot that when I first started trying disabling the sound system, it still crashed - though not as much - until I saved it so sound was NOT enabled when EL actually started) Try one of Sir Odies development builds. There's been a sound bug that has been fixed in the development version but there has not been a new official release http://www.gm.fh-koe...L-Services.html Thanks, I will try that out and see. I really have been missing my sounds.
DarElik Report post Posted October 21, 2012 Well, the development build didn't help. I fired it up and enabled sounds. Crashed twice within 15 mins.

DarElik Report post Posted October 28, 2012 @Deckara: Well, looks like reinstalling the OEM driver from my motherboard's site did the trick. 50+ hours with full sounds and full graphics and seems to be running better than ever.
