SolarStar Report post Posted June 5, 2012 Perhaps you have seen it in the news, if you are lucky to read this and you are interested in astronomy, at least a little bit, then I have found a live stream for you: http://venustransit.nasa.gov/2012/transit/webcast.php This webcast event will run through the entirety of the transit of venus, beginning at 9:45pm UTC (11:45am local Hawaiian time or 5:45pm EST) That will be in about an hour from now .. The guys on the NASA feed kept quoting 105 years till the next one, and they also said it's only happened something like 50 times since 2000 BC.
