Harvest/haul Iron ore and sell for 4gc each 2. Harvest/haul Iron ore and buy the Fire essence, Coal and Feasting potions and Mix Steel bars and sell them for 68gc each What is the most profitable thing to do? LongMustache Report post Posted March 25, 2012 Fastest way of all or faster of those two? for the later, I would go for just harvesting iron, but thats only assumption until you calculate the actual gc/hr u make. For the former I am convinced that buying FE and mixing Iron bars in SRM is way faster that just harvesting iron (8.5kgc/hr iron bars with 600 emu, 6.5kgc/hr for steel bars with the same emu). Theres also farming monsters. I can get as much as 20kgc/hr from a double troll spawn on a good day, excluding very rare drops.
