Rabbitman Report post Posted May 27, 2011 Hello all. I just reinstalled EL after about six months off and wanted to play again. Sadly it will not connect. It gets stuck at the loading screen with the last line of text saying "Connecting to Server..." I have let it sit for more than fifteen minutes on multiple occasions but it never connects nor does it say that the connection fails. Attempting to troubleshoot the problem myself, I used telnet game.eternal-lands.com 2000 and ping game.eternal-lands.com in command prompt. Telnet results in a blank background until it eventually brings up the native directory (no welcome message). The ping command times out 4/4 attempts.
