korrode Report post Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) I'm seeing a fairly consistent 5-6% packet loss after the last hop to the server atm (mtr at over 600 packets now and at 5.8% loss), a number of other people are mentioning "ping spikes" too (prolly same thing). Is everyone else seeing the same thing? Windows users can get MTR here: http://winmtr.net/ ...and on Linux MTR is probably in your package repos. edit: BTW don't leave MTR tracing to the server for ages, just do 100 or 200 packets if you're going to check... we don't wanna DoS attack EL xD Edited December 26, 2010 by Korrode
Marro Report post Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) Hi, im getting lag spikes problem after server is up again, ping is normal (55-70) but every few second it jump up to even 2k. Problem may be something else for me than el server but still it show me that game.eternal-lands.com loose 5-8% packets. Before server went down eveything was working fine i logged in 3min after it went up again and since then im getting this problem. |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | No response from host - 100 | 838 | 0 | 600 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 837 | 0 | 600 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 84.116.252.17 - 0 | 836 | 836 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 18 | | 84.116.252.13 - 0 | 836 | 836 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 13 | | 84.116.252.9 - 29 | 836 | 595 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 15 | | 84.116.252.205 - 0 | 835 | 835 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 14 | | pl-waw03a-rd1-ge-0-2-0.aorta.net - 1 | 835 | 831 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 84 | | ae-5-5.ebr2.Berlin1.Level3.net - 0 | 835 | 835 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 24 | | ae-3-3.ebr2.Dusseldorf1.Level3.net - 0 | 835 | 835 | 33 | 0 | 0 | 34 | | ae-1-100.ebr1.Dusseldorf1.Level3.net - 0 | 835 | 835 | 33 | 0 | 0 | 46 | | ae-48-48.ebr2.Frankfurt1.Level3.net - 28 | 835 | 605 | 37 | 0 | 0 | 38 | | ae-62-62.csw1.Frankfurt1.Level3.net - 0 | 835 | 835 | 37 | 0 | 0 | 42 | | ae-1-69.edge6.Frankfurt1.Level3.net - 0 | 835 | 835 | 37 | 0 | 0 | 38 | | 195.16.161.54 - 0 | 835 | 835 | 37 | 0 | 0 | 40 | |83.167.55.95.static.not.updated.as8218.eu - 0 | 835 | 835 | 45 | 0 | 0 | 49 | | xe1-0-0.tcr1.rb.par.as8218.eu - 1 | 835 | 827 | 53 | 0 | 0 | 55 | | 83.167.55.23 - 0 | 835 | 835 | 53 | 0 | 0 | 100 | | ge1-0-23.esr1.rb.par.as8218.eu - 0 | 835 | 835 | 53 | 0 | 0 | 55 | | game.eternal-lands.com - 7 | 835 | 782 | 53 | 0 | 0 | 55 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR 0.9 (c) 2010-2011 Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider Edited December 26, 2010 by Marro

MichelAngelo Report post Posted December 26, 2010 Same ove here, roughly 7-8% loss from EL-server, but bigger problems with the Euro-US connection point at rotterdam, while going over to the KPN-ring-network losses go up to 20% (known problem) so EL just got a bit slower/more resyncs needed for me, still playable though. :-) Greetz from the Netherlands.
