no walk-icon ; ubuntu10.04

Recommended Posts

I've tried the 190-version on two computers with ubuntu10.04:

1. athlon, nvidia with current nvidia-driver

2. P4, ati with unchanged standard video-driver

Both with linux-version (synaptic) and with wine&Win-Version. Some times i've to deactivate 'use animation', activate 'ati bug' and so on ... but i never see the walk-icon / can't walk.

Any ideas?

Or is there another reason, apart from a bug, for a missing walk-icon?

My apologies if this sounds a really silly question but have you finished creating your character? The character creation screen looks very much like the actual game window except it has fewer icons etc and you can't walk.

Ok, I am silly - or the creating screen, that's a matter of opinion.

I take it that was the issue then. You're not silly, many people find the character creation process a little confusing. In fact we intend to make a few changes and provide a bit more help and advice for that screen. If you have ideas about what would have helped avoid the confusion please let us know....

Edit: OK, I have now seen your posting elsewhere, thanks for the feedback..
