bkc56 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 Special day: Day of Attraction Description: All animals and monsters are drawn to players but may not attack (obey ignore levels). Role Play: As a practical joke someone has cast a spell on you that draws critters to you. They may not attack, but it is still unnerving. Special day: Day of Repulsion Description: All animals and monsters will flee from players as Shy Rats do. Role Play: Whatever you rolled in is very pungent and all the animals will run away. As an implementation footnote on the Day of Attraction, everything is drawn to players as if they didn't have MM or the proper ignore level, but will only attack if they would on a normal day. For example, if you have the a/d for goblins to normally ignore you, on this #day they will follow you around but not attack. But something stronger that normally won't ignore you, like an ogre, would follow you and may attack just like any other day. OK, I know we don't really need any more special #days. But the though of some guy chasing a dragon around who's running away like a shy rat is just to funny to ignore. Likewise, someone "collecting" all the critters on a map and leading them around like a parade seems like a lot of fun to watch.

bkc56 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 imagine dailies on this day (i was talking about day of attraction) I'm not sure it would help (if that's what you're implying) as you still would have to find them and get reasonably close to them. The "attraction" would be nothing more than if MM failed - a chance that they will "see" you, come close, just not attack.

How is this role playing when it would be affecting every player? Role playing would be finding a stone which looked like another kind of stone but it additional curse on it and would randomly cause this. When person was inflicted with it they could not use it or put it in storage but could sell it to another player and pass it along. bkc56 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 How is this role playing when it would be affecting every player? The same way every other special #day has both a description and a role-play entry.
