torgy0 Report post Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) I am pretty sure i downloaded/installed EL correctly on my new computer but when i try to play it won't connect to the server. any suggestions? things in red.. couldnt fine the GL_ARB_testure_mirroered_repeat extension, not using it... couldnt find the GL_ATI_texture_compression_3dc extension, not using it.. couldn't find the GL_EXT_texture_compression_latc extension, not using it.. Maxine Report post Posted August 30, 2010 Those errors are just to let you know which graphical subroutines you are missing, not a problem at all and not the reason you cannot play. Check if you can connect to port 2000. Any messages in you error log? Most likely causes: 1. Your internet provider is blocking port 2000 -> you cannot play unless you get a proxy (learners service) or somehow can convince your internet provider to open that port. 2. You own firewall is blocking port 2000 -> try turning off your firewall and see if you can connect. If so, make sure your firewall is configured to make an exception for letting EL through 3.
