1 new item (Point Defense) - what is that?

Hi all,

 

I didn’t have opportunity to check it in game, but I am very curious about this item. Is this the anti ranger ‘thing’? Some of you tested this on test server and might know little more about it. Until it is in encyclopedia or on some EL sites can you please share some information?

How does it work? You store it in your inventory (stackable) and when get shoot it disappears (absorbing random damage 0-100%)? Or do you have to use it somehow?

Just like you guessed, just have it in inventory and they do stack. Disappears when you're hit by an arrow.
