phrank Report post Posted June 17, 2010 I am having problems with client. I was logged in yesterday afternoon, went afk and tried to come back late last night. I got disconnected figured I would just log in this morning. I log in but am unable to do anything(walk, change view, look at history), it crushes my machine and I end up having to altx(sometimes it lets me) or do a hard boot. Nothing has changed with my machine at all. No updates since yesterday. I get same result with official client as I do with my compiled one. Video drivers are up to date. I am running Ubuntu 9.10. At least your problems have nothing to do with the server crash we had recently, since you posted earlier. Are you running too many applications on your computer, that you might have problems with RAM available, because other applications use too many of it? Try to reboot and *ONLY* run the EternalLands client. Are there any applications like file sharing tools running automatically at computer startup and use too many RAM? Just a guess...
