Visible Poison Degrade

Hi,

 

I think it would be nice to have a Visible Poison Degrade. You have the poison drop on the left and it vanishes slowly as the time goes by.

 

So you have an idea of the 3 minutes countdown if you have only 1 poisoning etc.

Perhaps using the same cool-down indicator graphics used for pots/food/rings/etc.

and if you have stacked poison?

adding drops? or a number written on the drop?

You get one GIANT drop over there, fills 1/4 the screen maybe.

Really like this idea. Some kind of "poison meter" would be very useful for anyone who mixes with toadies.

 

I like the idea of seeing the poison drop with a small "x2" or "x3" next to it indicating the number of "levels" of poison.

 

Would this be terribly difficult to implement?

It could be maybe something like this:

I've put there version with black and red number ... it could also have the "cooldown" effect which would show how long the displayed damage is applied.

love the idea,maybe do it not to line,but to baluster?

I decided to resurrect this thread, with a slightly different, and I think simpler, idea.

 

Sometimes it's hard to keep track of the numbers floating over your head, so a number indicating the latest poison hit beside the poison drop in the lower left hand corner would be nice. But I don't know what it takes to make that work, unless the client get an identifier indicating what type of damage the char receives.

Would be nice if it could be visible while in console too, though the lower left in then not a good location, maybe lower right?
