Ketoh or Bow guard

I did search but did not find it,

 

Here is a wiki link to a ketoh (Navajo name) or bow guard. They are also called bracers, but I am referring bow guards. For game realism, improved accuracy, slight armor increase, maybe hand to hand accuracy decrease. Construction should require turquoise and amber (in honor of the Navajo people), to bad we don't have coral.

Just an idea, this item could require 2 skills to complete. Crafting for the silver work, to make one piece. Then manufacturing for the leather work to complete it.

Maybe it could be used instead of a shield and only while bow/xbow is equipped.

Good point, It would have to be equipped like torso armor. You would have to where them instead of torso armor. They would need a higher armor value to make them worth it.

How about replacing medallion instead? And make it have ranging accuracy bonus?

Braces are included in torso armor. They can't be separate.
