Thyralax Report post Posted March 12, 2010 The seers are once again hearing the steady beat of the drums of war...but this time we are ready for them. We are sending scouts out to check the vicinity of the monsters known camps, as well as posting advanced guards along the Seridia coastline in an effort to prevent them building up a large force again. Hopefully with the help of the seers we shall be able to divine the location of the leader of this attack and neutralise it finally. Commander’s reports:Our soldiers are ready to strike, they have had lots of experience in battling this foe and will be able to repel them and keep the whole secure. We will assemble a special strike force to infiltrate the enemy’s strong hold when it’s found, they will be able to move in and slay the enemies whilst the brave archers & mages keep the host held down with covering fire. Magical council report:The wards are still holding up well, with a little time and help we should be able to keep the extended ward over Whitestone, desert pines, Nordcarn, Valley of the dwarves and Isla Prima intact. We are working a way of gathering enough magical energy to keep them strong. As well as provide a means of employing the seers to help in the coming battle. Private and confidential Generals report:Despite the confidence of our commanders, the situation is not as in hand as portrayed. We intercepted a communication from the enemy, and it seems that this enemy leader is seeking the blessings of Mortos in his battle against us. We should be prepared to face an enemy with his dark blessing unless we can stop them. As for the Men they are battle weary and exhausted after the last battle. We have supplies enough to face the coming threat, but unless we can put this dog down now, we will be in hard pressed to stop another assault. At the current time we are expecting attacks on the beaches of Tarsengarrd, Morcraven marsh, Grubani, The ruins of Tirnym and Portland and possibly Naralik. We have no Intelligence on where they will attack Irilion, as so far we have had no scouts return. We pray to the gods that they make it back to us. During the day we will send scouts out to inspect these locations and find the most defensible places there. We strongly recommend keeping to the forts and other good strategic locations. The quartermasters are also looking to see what equipment remains in our vastly depleted stores to aid in the battle ahead. There will be a GLOBAL INVASION today at around 8pm GMT, Friday 12th March. (in around 9 hours from this initial post) Desert pines, whitestone, Nordcarn, valley of the dwarves, Isla prima will remain safe. All other maps may get attacked so be careful and use sensible precautions. Sleep in houses; don’t take prolonged afks in places that may be attacked. If in doubt retreat to a safe map.
