Anyone else experiencing problems? I can ping the site, but I can't connect.

You are pinging the website, not the game. Next time try to ping game.eternal-lands.com (a totally different IP adres).

Also try proxy3.other-life.com (it's also in the UK, but a different ISP).

That happens, and sometimes my proxy helps, other times it doesn't. That's one reason I have more then one server incase access for one is down, there are still options.
