Phoenix

Recommended Posts

3+3*lvl percent to dodge

2+2*lvl percent damage absorption

+10%*lvl more HP

no exp gained while fighting

spells are twice stronger on phoenix

why?

would make perfect form for tanking invasions/instances and high lvl mobs, but can't do anything alone, you'd need people to deal damage (without weapon you don't deal any damage) and to heal you (you can't heal yourself). No xp gained to avoid abuse.

PK uses?

annoying people ?

mages could already kill phoenix with 1 harm, whats the point in making spells twice as powerfull on them?

even with the 10% extra hp that would still be a 1-harm kill

Per level = 2285 Creature Food * 65gc = 148 571gc = 1143 minutes = 19.05 hours

Total = 32000 Creature Food * 65gc each = 2 080 000gc = 16000 minutes = 266.66 hours = 11.11 days

2 080 000gc / 9kgc/h = 231.1 hours = 9.629 days

For me to get level 14 phoenix = 20 days non stop playing EL,

so more like 200 days litterally.

However! This all becomes rather irrelevant after levelling is finished. Keeping phoenix form is 8450gc/h + glyph for: 70% chance of reborn, 14 attack levels, 19% chance to flee, 14 fire protection, + cooldown chance?

Is it worth it? Yes. Will I be doing it any time soon? No.

EDIT: *Half way out the door* D'oh, that's right, it goes from level 0, not level 1... but you get the idea. >.<

Typical base material points for a PKer: 130.

10% extra hp per level --> 14 (max level) * 13 (10% of 130) = 182.

Total mat pts for a typical fighter's fully leveled phoenix: 130+182 = 312

Once the feature is fixed, Phoenix would be able to indefinitely sustain magic immunity (unless MI wards are used). 312 mat pts in PK without the ability to restore is still not all that much, but it's not likely instant death. A Phoenix would be a sitting duck alone, but could theoretically serve as a tank.

In a non-PK environment (PVE), the susceptibility to harm would not be an issue. Rather, just a question of whether players can heal it fast enough.
