Roja Report post Posted December 27, 2008 Ok, did you install to all default directories when running the installer? -Your default user directory is located here: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\Eternal Lands\ -Your default data directory is located here: C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands\ Also when exactly does it crash, when you double click the .exe? Or does it load the login screen then when you click a button there it crashes?
Rogue34 Report post Posted December 30, 2008 Yes, both items are installed at the default location. The crash occurs directly after double clicking the .exe. It comes up with the initial EL splash screen with the blue loading status bar. It crashes immediately after this comes up. The status shows "Initializing OpenGL Extensions". It sounds like a problem related to your video card drivers to me. When you say "freshly updated drivers", do you mean that you went to the ATI site and downloaded the latest drivers available for your card? If not, try doing that and see if it helps
