PK Server One Year Anniversary!

The PK server is celebrating its one year anniversary with events and prizes spanning three days! If you're an old friend of the server, or have been thinking about getting an account, now's the time!

 

The celebration will be ongoing from the 27th to the 29th with events happening every three hours (at 0:00 and 3:00 ingame time). HUNDREDS of prizes will be given away!

 

The current schedule of festivities will be as follows:

 

And we've figured out the starting times! 0:00 ingame time is 9:00 AM central US, and 1500 GMT.

 

Saturday December 27th:

 

0:00 Kick off the anniversary celebration with a Summoning Party in IP (OK, there's a back story to this. Those of us who were here the day of the character wipe basically sat around Beam for about 6 hours waiting for the server to restart. Since we all had bear stones, there were quite a few creatures who joined us).

Those interested in polishing off their summoning skills may use this opportunity to show off get experience, others may work on att/def by slaughtering what they can, and others can sit around and giggle every time one of Requiem's Armed Orcs kills someone (or remote heal, your choice). Come dressed in weirdest costume! (prizes!) (hosted by Orange)

0:00 Gossip Appreciation Day: (hosted by Gossip) Send admires, threats, and messages. Don't forget to send a telegram to your main server friends to tell them what we're doing today and invite them over!

 

3:00 Find Gossip! (hosted by Gossip) Since she rocks, she'll be handing out stones (yes, it's punny), various glittery stones (the kind that go in fun storage categories like "magic" and "misc").

 

0:00 Team Mob Hunt: (hosted by SyWren or Segor, or both) Entrance fee is 200 gc per character. Join one of two teams, and see which team can get the most loot in 1 hour. Winning team gets the gc (and the loot!) Best loot is given to Kaldoon for the next event.

Unfortunatly this starts almost exactly the time I have to go in to work, so I wont be able to be part of the kick-off events. I dropped off some prizes with SyWren earlier though.

Sorry we were a little late had visitors at home lol

 

But summoned 100 rabit/rats/boars/gargs

 

And had a great time doing it

 

Started a year ago when PK server was first born

Was also on the test server as well

 

Its been a great year lots of fun seen players come and go

 

I started with 3 chars Handyman Loader and Ironfist and later adopted Horvic ans Enius

 

With the help from my alts have managed to reach the 100 a/d cap

Loader has made tit plate sets Mols all the pots and today he made a Halberd

 

Second on the server Kit get first prize for that with her Aepox char

 

It must be wierd players on main that have sold or traded their chars seeing them still on here

Well just to let you know they are being well looked after

Pk Tournament

 

I am posing this on behalf of Felessan

 

The tournament was held in Dp arena

 

We had some great battles

 

Players were kicked for guilds to compete against each other even real life mother in laws against son in laws

 

Now I wish my ex mother in-law played EL lmao

 

Winners of the competition were

 

First place and well deserved it was to

 

1 Poot he won a Bp cape and a rosto

 

2 Kit_gw won a rosto

 

3 grim also won a rosto

 

So congratulations to Poot your the Pk servers First Pk champion

 

And a big Ty to Felessan for holding a great event well done Fel

Last two events went really well

 

 

Bag jump Handy

placed lots of bags all around C1 just giving cords but not maps

 

Everyone had a great time pking each other running around chasing after the bags

 

Prizes were anything from hydro bars to rostos full training kits rings pots stones

 

Great fun had buy all

 

 

Then ReMuS

 

Last for over half an hour everyone chasing Remus around Whitestone map trying to find him pking each other in the process

 

Finally Gambit found and killed ReMuS got a mol mm cloak and lots of other goodies

Guys I would like to say a few words now our first year celebration is over

 

 

It has been a great year for us over on the PK server

 

It saw my return to EL after being away for quite a while

 

We at the beginning worked the test server and had loads of fun helping to set this new version in motion

 

It was back to old school pking and more or less every map was PK

 

After the first few months the server became quieter because most players missed their lvls on the main server or they didn’t get time to playing both servers

 

Also the only press we seemed to get was bad press, no one saw the fun we were having

 

Now it’s 1 year on and several chars have reached the 100 a/d cap or are in the 80’s+

 

We are making Titanium armour craft lvls in the 60’s I think gambits alc is nearing the 90’s

 

 

We who do play the PK server have lots of fun

 

No cool down on food pots and rings,

 

Muling and multi play is allowed

 

Lots of free spawns

 

Lots of PK Maps

 

Players have come and gone and also returned again

 

It was nice to see a few old faces during our first year celebrations

Would just like to thank Sywren for all her hard work setting up the schedule for this celebration

 

And all the players that hosted events and also that took part

I believe everyone that participated and helped with the celebrations deserves a word of appreciation but those who made the events possible deserve a couple more

 

I didn't have the chance to participate in most of the events and couldn't held some of my own as work got the best of me during the last couple days. Due to this I will try to hold at least the hide&seek when I have the time for it as I already had some prizes saved for it.

 

A big thank you to all but a special one for SyWren that worked so hard to make this celebration bigger and better and for Handyman for the big bag drop race from last night, loved it, even if I was too tired to stay for Remus.
