KillerNoName Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I think the day after meals are better, e.g. the-day-after-Thanksgiving-turkey-sandwiches
Dilly Report post Posted November 27, 2008 Aren't leftovers always the best? Ofc.. i never had a thanksgiving meal, seen as I'm European, but it's the same for every foodfest holiday I guess
SweetThang Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I'm such a good cook..Its good both days \o/
shallara Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Hmm, I would have to say the day after, ONLY because then I can fix food by microwave in a matter of minutes instead of being in the kitchen for hours!
Nurplewhip Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Day after! All the extra family is gone and it's no longer "combat conditions" to get to the food. ~Da Nurple~

Bernie Report post Posted November 28, 2008 It's only good to me fresh and hot the day of thanksgiving, it's never as good the day after.
KillerNoName Report post Posted November 29, 2008 All the food is and always cold during my thanksgiving dinners >.<
kat Report post Posted November 29, 2008 I quite honestly do not like leftovers...I avoid them at all costs. When I don't have any money is when I will dine upon the leftovers, lol.
Wizzy Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The best part of teh Turkey is the left overs. Here in the Wizzy house we eat it for days after, and I even boil the bones for 1 hell of a stock for soup.
KillerNoName Report post Posted December 2, 2008 lol, one person treats left overs as a last resort. the other will make it last as long as possible, and even uses the bones. that's hilarious
Bernie Report post Posted December 2, 2008 maybe i misunderstood the original question: Do you prefer the food the day of thanksgiving or the day after... For me, I PERFER it the day of.
Nurplewhip Report post Posted December 7, 2008 (edited) I think you got the point of it, Bernie. My Mom rocks at cooking! I, on the other hand, am FPI (Food Preparation Impaired). So, if my Mom cooks I'm all about leftovers, whether it's Thanksgiving or not. LOL! ~Da Nurple~ p.s. I really wasn't kidding though about the food combat conditions of Thanksgivings past. You know people take their turkey seriously when you risk having a fork stabbed into the back of your hand if you're not fast enough to get your turkey and run!
