Bug in UBUNTU deb package

Recommended Posts

I got the following errors when trying to install eternal lands via synaptics:

E: eternallands-data: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

E: eternallands-music: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

E: eternallands-sound: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

E: eternallands: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

I followed this guide: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EternalLands

It might not be in the right place here, but I wasn't sure if I should post it in the bug section

edit: I retried and it worked just fine this time, so it might be a clientside problem...

Looks like the eternallands-data package failed to install. That was probably due to the data archive download failing. Retrying the install is exactly what you needed to do so I'm glad that worked. Not a lot else I can say but thanks for reporting the problem.
