The documentation that came with your firewall probably tells how to allow unrestricted passage of specific port numbers. I believe to play EL you need TCP port 2000 to be passed through (or 2001 for the test server).

Oops that was me, but since I can't edit it now, I'll put it seperately:

AMD Athlon XP 1500+, lowered to 1000 Mhz cuz when I up it my comp overloads or something :P

256 MB RAM

Geforce II

nvidia drivers installed

I'm not running anything else, except for my antivirus... and it isn't recently installed and doesn't include a firewall.

I have tried re-downloading 2 times, and nothing new...

No firewall installed or anything... All other online games and such work fine, same for offline games (including more draining ones then EL...)

Btw the program acts EXACTLY the same as when my connection is gone, it stays on "Connecting to Server" and either crashes or gives u the retry thing.

Try to access the Players Online page, see if it works or not. If it doesn't work, then it's your ISP who can't resolve the name properly.
