I don't know what everyone else's definition is, but afaik, and the rule that i go by, is "FF" = Fair Fight.

 

The only automatic pre-condition i recognize is that it will be a 1 player VS 1 player fight; i.e. our friends/guildies will not interfere in any way.

If you ask me for a "FF", i will use offensive magic and summons if i want, and if i kill you, i will take whatever you drop.

 

If that's my definition, then there's a reasonable chance it's other peoples definition too. If you want any other conditions for the fight, i highly suggest you discuss the specifics beforehand and ensure your opponent agrees to them.

 

By my definition this thread breaks new rule 3 , but i realise people have varying definitions of "FF", perhaps a public consensus on the definition would be good.

FF = Firefox

PK = Picky kid.

 

I don't PK or PVP and even I know FF in EL stands for Friendly Fight (return drops, fight purely for the sake of enjoyment from both parties) - basically if you have a fight with someone one day you would both be happy to do the same any time after that.

 

If he chooses to want an outlaw reputation my suggestion to everyone ingame is completely ignore (if not #ignore) him. Back in the day there was a usage for global_ignores.txt, maybe players like this belong in there?

I always understood FF to mean Friendly Fight, as LabRat says. If he didn't return stuff, he belongs in this thread. Thank you for the warning.
