Can bots take perks after they are tagged?

Hello all!

 

I have a question about my soon-to-be bot, Merchant_of_Zad. I can't afford to spend $100 to have him blessed, so what I've been doing is leveling him up and maxing out his phys and coord (at the time I'm posting he has 48/40). There are two negative perks left that he could take: power hungry, and harvester of sorrow. Before I have him tagged he's going to get power hungry. I don't have the 100kgc for the other perk. My question is: can I have him turned into a bot, then do a guild project to raise the 100kgc and have him THEN take harvester of sorrow (stuffing the 5 pick points in coord)? or are bots not allowed to get perks/spend pick points after they are tagged? If not then I'll just have to wait until he gets five more levels...

No negative perks are allowed after the botization.

Only perk allowed is MM.
